Marie has a secret. Her husband Morrie died four years ago, but when she came home from the funeral his ghost was there waiting for her. And he's still there! Wearing droopy shorts and an old Hawaiian shirt, Morrie spends his days eating M&M's and watching soap operas. When the butcher at the market starts flirting with her, Marie decides it is time for Morrie to depart. She confesses her secret to their neighbor Millie. A widow herself who could use the company, Millie offers to take Morrie off her hands. And the neighborhood is full of widows, all with their own televisions, who could also use the company. Morrie leaves with Millie to be the star attraction in their Morrie of the Month Club and Marie, newly single, can at last wink back at the butcher. $10 Single Use Copyright Fee plus $40 Royalty per Performance for Amateur Theatre.
