Author and lyricist A.D. Hasselbring attended high school in Lexington, KY and received a B.A. in Literature and Composition from Pepperdine University. In Los Angeles, he established Common Man Stories and co-founded Fifth Talent Productions. His written works include the one act works Kendra and Sometimes We Sleep as well as numerous children’s stories and prose. Among his full length works are Passing Time and the new rock drama Here.I.Am. His most recent productions have been seen at such California venues as the Chance, Curtis, Complex, and Falcon Theatres. His lyrics have been sung by many of Broadway’s best voices and his songs have been heard in compilations and shows such as Smashing Broadway, Mad Captain Minor, and the 2007 benefit concert Songs for a New Orleans.
