Bob May

Bob May has been active in the theatre for more than fifty years. He began as an actor and moved on to directing, and over the years, he has directed more than 450 productions. Directing took a backseat to playwriting after earning an MFA in Playwriting from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.He taught Playwriting and Screenwriting for thirty-five years at Brainerd (MN) Community College, the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, and the University of Central Arkansas. Forty-one of his plays have been published and produced around the world. His book Postcard Pointers to the Performer is published by Dominion Publications, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. And his books Scriptwriting Structure: To the Point Pointers and Play Directing: From Concept to Curtain are published by Skye Bridge Publishing, Raleigh, NC.He and his wife, Cathy, have a blended family of five children and five grandchildren.
