Set in a cramped living room of a New York apartment, this dramatic short explores the contempt Dottie, a woman in her 60’s, has for her husband Harold’s best friend who has just died. As she celebrates his death, Dottie confronts Harold’s life-long refusal to accept the circumstances behind Dottie’s hatred of the man who raped her and the humiliation she has endured as Harold remained committed to this friend. Despite her resentment, Dottie forgave her husband long ago but still longs for his understanding and acceptance with a glimmer of hope that this time it will come.
